Haven't been to a LAN in awhile since I don't have a good gaming PC anymore. How do you usually have the 360s set up and what games are usually running? I've got a couple 360s and a 50" plasma I could possibly bring (I'm going to try to make it to this one).

I'll have a CoD 2 Shotty tourny!  - Always a good decision (just like Samuel Adams, apparently).

We normally have the 360's set-up on the side and in the back of the room and connected to projectors.  If you were willing to donate the use of your TV and 360's, we would really appreciate it.

There has been halo 3 and gears played. I would like to see some CoD4 as it is the only 360 game I am relativly good at.

COD4 (and WaW) is difficult to LAN. You can split screen 4, or you can network multiple boxes together, but you can't do both. COD with only 4 players is boring. I don't know why they made the decision not to allow split screens over the network. I like COD more than Halo but this is one area that really hurts it.

Halo 3 is good. Ought to look into some matches of Grifball (foundry map required) or Infection.

Omega LAN Posters

Postby VI=P=IIR on Thu Apr 09, 2009 4:10 pm

Posters should reflect sponsorships

It would be desirable to have the posters by next Friday (April 17) so they could be seen by visitors to campus (additional publicity brought to our door so to speak) . . .

More to be announced as packages from sponsors arrive

I might note that you haven't updated the schwag list. Regardless, I'm still stoked for this LAN.
